Supply Chain and Product Coordinator

Orbit Industries is seeking Supply Chain and Product Coordinator interns to aid in planning and strategic sourcing process for products.  Interns will provide administrative support to engineering manager.

Responsibility:

- Planning and strategic sourcing: Execute planning and strategic sourcing process for assigned products including supplier selection, supply market analysis, and supplier management.
- Quality Control: Work closely with product engineers to conduct quality control including sample management, inbound delivery quality check, and new product development.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement. Apply six sigma and lean to standardize work process/flow to achieve higher efficiency.

Qualification:

- BS or MS in Industrial Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
- Good communication skills—effective listening, speaking, and writing.
- Self-motivated, independent, ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Knowledge of ERP System is a plus.
- Mandarin is a plus.
