Design/Manufacturing Engineer
Employment Type:
Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Designs products
using Solidworks, AutoCAD and Pro-E (SolidWorks proficiency is a must,
but Pro-E knowledge is an asset)
- Creates drawing
with complete detailing and tolerance
- Coordinates with
Manufacturing managers regarding design, development, prototyping, and
testing of various products
- Analyzes and recommends
products design changes for ease of manufacturing, cost reduction and
quality improvement (continuous improvement)
- Provides technical
assistance in product launch to process & manufacturing departments
- Coordinates with
Quality Control department regarding test procedures and standards
- Conducts investigations
or tests pertaining to the development of new manufacturing operations,
exploration or product and/or process problems, definition and selection
of new concepts and approaches in manufacturing operations
Requirements:
- Proficient in 3D
Design, Modeling, and Detailing using Solidworks and/or Pro/E
- Minimum 2 years
experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with
electrical components for building construction a plus
- Fabrication and
assembly experience is desired
- Ability to speak
read and write both English and Mandarin Chinese fluently
Education:
- B.S. degree in Mechanical
